Shabbat Services

Friday Evenings: Simchat Shabbat

At our Friday evening Shabbat services, we bring in the spirit of Shabbat with song and joy in a warm and inclusive community. Guests and newcomers are invited to join us, and children are always welcome. Typically, we begin with food and greeting one another at 6:00 pm, with our service from 6:15-7:15 pm.

Early Shabbat Morning Service, followed by Torah Study

Our Early Shabbat Morning Service takes place every Saturday at 8:30 am. The tone and format are traditional and warm, jointly led by clergy and congregants, with the reading of the weekly Torah portion. Immediately following service at 9:30 am, we gather to discuss dimensions of the weekly Torah portion in a spirited and meaningful conversation.

Late Shabbat Morning Service with B. Mitzvah Celebrations

On most Shabbat mornings of the year, we celebrate as a community when young people lead services and chant Torah as they become B. Mitzvah. These services are open to the entire community to come together and celebrate as one, beginning at 10:45 am.
