Day at a Glance
At the ELC, the children have the opportunity to engage in many types of play throughout the school day. We focus on the development of the whole child, and recognize the importance of access to rich and varied experiences, environments, and invitations to play and make meaning of the world around them. Our learners are engaged in whole group, small group, and individual exploration inside the classroom, as well as outside in our natural settings. The ELC curriculum includes, but is not limited to:
- Process art
- Scientific inquiry
- Exploring Math Concepts
- Music and Movement
- Nature investigation
- Jewish holidays and middot (character traits)
(Please note, our schedules are flexible, meaning that we follow the general order of the day, but times may vary based upon the interests and needs of the children in the classroom).
