As a part of our commitment to our mission statement, the TST Environmental Action Committee has created an environmental action team through JCAN (Jewish Climate Action Network). Through the team, members of TST can log their environmentally-friendly actions and track our community’s progress towards tikkun olam (healing the Earth).
So far, our members have eliminated 93.2 metric tons of CO2 waste by composting, insulating our homes, and switching to LED lights and energy efficient appliances!
