The Connections Project

Chess Club: Mark Aisenberg

Play chess and make friends at the TST Chess Club! We will meet weekly at the temple in a gentle non-competitive environment. All are welcome, from advanced players to those who have never played before. Play, learn, even teach. Non-players are also invited to watch, hang out, and kibitz. Chess, and friends, will keep your brain young!

Small Business CEO Peer Group: Richard Rossman

Are you a small business owner who would like to meet with other business owners to share common issues, learn how others have solved their business problems, and advise each other about how to grow your businesses effectively and efficiently?

Dick Rossman, who has owned, managed and consulted to numerous small businesses in MA, will facilitate a Peer Group that will meet monthly, creating an agenda of your current and pressing business issues. In addition, we will be inviting outside experts to help provide useful information around small business management.

Photography Club: Gary Shuman

Join us for a relaxed and welcoming photography club for all skill levels! Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced photographer, we gather twice a month for 1-2 hours to explore photography, share tips, and enjoy creative time together. Meetings will take place both indoors and outdoors (weather permitting), offering a mix of learning, practice, and social connection.

Biking Club: Mark Seliber

Join Our Monthly Bike Rides!

Looking for a fun, social way to enjoy the outdoors? Come ride with us! We’ll explore scenic bike trails on a relaxed 1-2 hour ride one Sunday morning or afternoon each month. Our routes are mostly on trails, making it a great option for all experience levels.

Rides start in April and continue through the fall.

Whether you’re a casual rider or a seasoned cyclist, come meet new friends, enjoy fresh air, and discover great local trails. Let’s pedal together!

Possibly focus on a  different topic each time we get together, such as mobility, blindness organizations within Massachusetts, tax implications, and technology. Family members are also welcome.

Ken is neither a social worker nor a medical professional, but has lived with vision loss for many years and has been involved with numerous organizations.
