STIFTY

STIFTY, our Shir Tikva Temple Youth Group, is the home of our informal teen social programming, social action projects, teen peer-leadership programming, as well as our regional link to NFTY events. STIFTY is geared towards opening up social opportunities for our teens – an avenue to remain involved and stay socially connected with (or to build new social connections with) their peers, especially for teens who may not be able to make commitments to our programs that meet regularly. STIFTY events are isolated and open to any TST or unaffiliated Jewish teen, making it easy to attend just one or all of them!

Prior STIFTY events have included:

  • Apple Picking
  • Laser Tag
  • Nostalgia Night
  • Annual Social Action Bake Sale
  • Shul-Ins (Temple Sleepovers)
  • Our Teen Trip Programs (NYC Trip, D.C. Trip, etc.)
  • Interfaith Family Promise Cooking with teens from the Islamic Center of Boston (ICB Wayland)
  • Purim Prep Party
  • And More!

This year’s STIFTY events include…

  • November 3rd – Fall-Themed Movie Night
  • February 3rd – Winter Adventure at APEX!
  • April 27th – Spring Field Day

And special events just for our junior youth group (middle-school aged teens) include…

  • December 16-17 – Grades 7+8 Shul-in (sleepover at the Temple)
  • February 4th – Outing to Tubing, Laser Tag, or Ice Skating (vote at the Shul-in!)
