NFTY

NFTY is a national Jewish youth movement that brings together teenagers from all different areas for social and social action opportunities. In their own words, “NFTY is a movement that builds strong, welcoming, inspired communities through teen-powered engagement. Together, we pursue tikkun olam, personal growth, youth empowerment, and deep connections, all rooted in Reform Judaism”.

Our region (or sub-section) of NFTY is NFTY Northeast, which includes Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, upstate New York and Montreal. As a URJ congregation, our synagogue youth group (and junior youth group), STIFTY, is affiliated with NFTY for regional events. NFTY 678 is the branch of NFTY that seeks to engage middle-school students in NFTY-style programming and opportunities. NFTY 678 is a collaboration between NFTY-NE and NFTY-NAR, the NFTY region encompassing the greater New York Area.
