Inspired by the multivalent and communal mode of study embodied in the Zohar, this class will be a socratic-style group study of some of the major terms, themes, and figures of the Hebrew Bible and how they might mirror our own lives back to us in a new light. With special attention to how the Hebrew often differs rather dramatically from standard English translations, this course will seek meaning from the locked “Garden” of the text from the space where the literal and spiritual meet and interpenetrate. -

Join congregant and yoga teacher Holly Glick for a gentle yoga practice that will serve you during these challenging times. Each class will be based on a theme derived from a Mussar middah, or character trait. If you can breath, stand, sit and stretch you will have all you need to enjoy this practice.
