Mental Health Initiative: Portraits of Resilience

April 25, 2022
7:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Join us for an open and honest discussion of university students and mental health struggles with author and MIT Professor, Prof. Daniel Jackson.

At once a photo essay and a compendium of life stories, Dr. Jackson’s book, Portraits of Resilience brings us face to face with several students at one of the most competitive and elite universities in the world—demonstrating how they cope, overcome, and find meaning in their lives. Professor Jackson makes connections to Jewish teachings as he tells these students stories. The learnings from Dr. Jackson’s presentation are relevant for all of us, no matter what stage of life we are in. If you are or have a highschool or university student in your family, this is a must-see event.
