As we enter the season of t’shuvah (repentance, returning) and community, we are reminded of our duty of tikkun olam, repairing the world. One of the ways TST engages in this is through our annual High Holy Days food drive. Bags for donations will be distributed on Rosh Hashanah, and donations can be dropped off at TST between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur.
Every year during the High Holy Days, our congregation wide food drive helps refill food pantries’ shelves for local organizations:
Paper bags with a list of items needed are located in the temple lobby and collected between High Holidays. Filled bags are collected in a storage unit located in the temple parking lot where TST members sort and pack these items after Yom Kippur.
