One Love Week - NEW DATE

Due to last Wednesday's storm our One Love evening program has been moved to Wednesday, March 28. While we were disappointed the event had to be moved, out of lemons we're making lemonade, as we're now pleased to share that our neighbor Malcolm Astley, who regularly works with One Love, will be joining us for the end of the evening to speak to the parents and the 9th-12th graders. Malcolm's daughter Lauren was tragically murdered by her ex-boyfriend in 2011 and ever since then he has worked tirelessly to draw attention to the very real problems of relationship abuse.

The schedule March 28 is:

One Love will then be taking over AISH (this program is also open to children who are not regular participants in the AISH program).

7th and 8th Graders will participate in the Couplets Workshop ( learning about the difference between healthy and unhealthy relationships.

9th - 12th Graders will take part in a Behind the Post Workshop ( looking at the way that social media can now skew the way that view our relationships and those of others.

For Parents of Teenagers we will have a session about Starting the Conversation equipping them with tools to talk to their kids about their relationships.
