Our Civil Rights Journey

We are excited to partner with the Greater Framingham Community Church for a trip to Georgia to explore our civil rights journey. This trip has been made possible and is supported by a generous grant from CJP and the Center for Combating Antisemitism.

The trip will take place Thursday, May 1 – Sunday, May 4, 2025. Our trip provider, Etgar 36 has a full itinerary including:

  • Visit to the Rosa Parks Museum
  • Tour of Selma and the Edmund Pettus Bridge
  • Walking tour of Freedom Park & 16th Street Baptist Church
  • Tour of the King Center and Auburn Street neighborhood

Prior to the trip there will be three sessions for the group to connect, learn more about one another’s communities, and prepare for the journey together.

Trip cost will be dependent on total number of participants and individuals per room and will range from $905-$1,365. This cost does not include airfare. Support is available; please reach out to Rabbi Danny if you have questions about cost.

If you are interested in joining this trip and would like more information, please reach out to Marissa ().
