DESCRIPTION:The Environmental Action Committee invites you to participate i
 n an event called "Hear the Call for a Just Green Recovery". The event is
  organized by Dayenu: A Jewish Call to Climate Action and is part of a nat
 ionwide series of actions calling for bold climate action at this critical
  moment.\n\nAt this gathering occuring in the early days of the holy month
  of Elul\, we will sound the shofar to call on members of Congress to keep
  their promise and fight for climate justice\, good green jobs\, a Civilia
 n Climate Corps\, and recovery legislation that meets the scale of the cli
 mate crisis. The event is being co-led by congregant Dr. Max Klau.\n\nSig
 n up!\n\nThere will also be a banner painting party to prepare the banner 
 for the event\; that will occur at Max Klau's house on Sunday\, August 15
 th from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM. To RSVP and get more details\, contact Max
