SUMMARY:CJP Active Threat Training
DESCRIPTION:Countering Active Threat Training (CATT) offers a comprehensive
  training program to counter an active threat event developed specifically
  for faith-based institutions and Houses of Worship.\n\nObjectives:\n\n 	D
 ifferentiate between security and safety\n 	Develop a better understanding
  of Active Threat incidents\n 	Identify and explain modes of action during
  an Active Threat incident\, such as Run\, Hide\, Fight\n 	Learn how to pr
 epare for an Active Threat event\n 	Know how to respond to law enforcement
 's arrival\n 	Recognize the importance of additional training such as "Sto
 p the Bleed"\n 	Be able to commit to action during an Active Threat event.
 \n\nSession includes PowerPoint presentation\, videos\, and three 15 minut
 e drills that reinforce central concepts. We strongly recommend that parti
 cipants attend the Key Security Concepts Training prior to attending Activ
 e Threat Response Training. CJP strongly encourages attendees to follow al
 l state\, local\, and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention COVID-19 
 safety guidelines. Attendees are solely responsible for checking and adher
 ing to specific requirements as set forth by host organizations and venues
 .\n\nSessions are open to other communities\, and will include a mix of TS
