Real Life Is Complicated

7:30 PM - 8:30 PMZoom

2020 has been the year of the plagues: COVID, job loss, deaths, no camp, an election like no other, storms. We have missed graduations and b’nei mitzvah celebrations, postponed weddings, canceled vacations. On the other hand, we have also slowed down, learned to engage with each other online, and completed 1000-piece puzzles. It's been a year of both trauma and learning. Join us as we welcome back Dr. Betsy Stone, who spoke with our K-12 parents in the spring and worked with our ELC teachers this fall, as we now come together across our TST community to explore how this fear and trauma has impacted us—and how it has strengthened us as well.

Dr. Stone, is a retired psychologist who teaches nationally on subjects as varied as Teen Brains, Retirement, Trauma and Parenting. She is an adjunct lecturer at HUC-JIR in New York, and a sought after speaker. Her talks are interactive and entertaining.
