Race & Social Change: A Quest, A Study, A Call to Action
Date:
May 30, 2018 - 7:00pm

Join us for an evening with Dr. Max Klau, a Temple Shir Tikva congregant and author of this recently published title. As a doctoral student at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, Max stumbled upon a provocative educational exercise in the tradition of the Milgram obedience experiments and the Stanford prison experiment that provided an opportunity to study the unfolding of multiple simulated civil rights movements. The insights from this exploration of matters of race and social change are surprising and provocative, and illuminate the work each of can do to confront racial injustice in our own communities.
