Clergy Support

We at Temple Shir Tikva are excited to continue our partnership with Hebrew College (Newton, MA) and welcome Student Rabbi Heather Renetzky in Fall 2022! She is currently the Director of the Boston-Area Jewish Education Program and working as the Rabbinic Intern at 2Life Communities where she offers pastoral care, Jewish services, and learning for the residents. She is also the Centennial Lecture Series Teaching Assistant at Hebrew College, which has involved an exploration of Judaism’s approach to communal and existential challenges.

Heather will be joining us in September and working for 20 hours a week. We anticipate her being involved as a member of our Clergy team with a particular focus on service leading, teaching (both for adults and in our schools), and pastoral care. We are looking forward to welcoming her in the fall and are excited for the community to have a chance to meet her.

We are also welcoming back TWO TST alumnae this summer, Rabbi Rachael Pass and Rabbi Jen Gubitz, who will both be joining us for three Shabbatot each during the year to lead us in prayer, song, and study as part of our Clergy team.

Rabbi Pass is the Associate Rabbi and manager of the spiritual counseling program at the T’Shuva Center in New York. Rabbi Gubitz is working at Temple Shalom in Newton and developing her new organization Modern JewISH Couples, with whom TST is a partner.
