Shavuot

The Shir Tikva Yom Tov service celebrates the giving of the Torah at Mount Sinai. The whole family enjoys hearing the Ten Commandments as they are chanted from the Torah. We also share Yizkor memorial services together.

Shavuot is the time for our centuries-old tradition of Tikkun Leil Shavuot: the practice of staying up late into the night in study as we prepare to receive the Torah once again. Together, we gather for an evening of inspired learning, sharing and food as we prepare our souls for Sinai.
