The Adult Education Committee Presents  Not Your Typical Torah Study:

A Scholar-in-Residence Weekend with Rabbi Alan Ullman

April 28 – 30, 2017

What’s so special about this rabbi? Join us for a weekend of spirited interaction with the Torah led by Rabbi Alan Ullman and see for yourself. For nearly 30 years, Rabbi Ullman has gained a devoted following across New England and the world with his unique style of illuminating the words of Torah to provide profound relevance for our contemporary lives. By wrestling alongside his students with literal and hidden meanings embedded in the ancient texts, Rabbi Ullman sparks lively, insightful conversation and helps us discover what is sacred in our everyday lives.

We are pleased to bring Rabbi Ullman’s warmth and wisdom to our community for this unique series of events. Participants may engage at whatever level is comfortable—including spectator mode. “Typical” study sessions will be modeled while broader participation will be invited. No previous experience or knowledge is necessary. We welcome you to try out one or more events throughout the weekend.
