Preschool
Temple Shir Tikva is proud to host the Jewish Community Center (JCC) Early Learning Center (ELC) of Wayland within our building.
Educational Philosophy
Teachers at the JCC Early Learning Center believe nurturing children in a warm, caring environment enhances their confidence and willingness to inquire, explore, and experiment. The focus is on developing all aspects of development: cognitive, physical, emotional, social and language with a respect for individual differences. The school offers a rich early learning experience inspired by Jewish values and traditions. The JCC ELC is a place of joy, learning, and social connection for children and their families. The Learning Center offers a flexible program for children ages 15 months - 5 years. Hours of operation are Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. and Friday, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Families can choose a half-day program from 9 a.m.-noon or an extended day.
Partnership with Temple Shir Tikva
JCC preschool families enjoy access to many temple resources including visits from clergy, and Shabbat and holiday celebrations. Together, Temple Shir Tikva and the JCC provide a facility that is geared toward enriching the lives of Jewish families with young children throughout the Metrowest area. Please visit the JCC Early Learning Center for more information, or contact JCC ELC Director Chantal Lawrence at CLawrence@jccgb.org or 508-358-5331.
