Temple Shir Tikva Responds to Hurricane Katrina
Hurricane Relief Message from Rabbi Gold
Dear Friends,
An update on the Temple’s activities regarding aid to the victims of Hurricane Katrina -- and how you can be a part of our volunteer effort. In addition to the Tzedakah money that members of the community have been sending, many have been wondering about other creative, grassroots ways in which we can get involved. There are two activities we are actively working on right now. Please click this link to read about our two activities: Shir Tikva Helps or more information, visit: www.urj.org/relief/jacobsladder. This is the season Teshuvah (self-reflection), Tefillah (prayer), and Tzedakah (giving righteously). I am delighted to be a part of a community like ours that can immerse ourselves in each of these Mitzvot together.
L_shalom,
Rabbi Neal Gold
