Deena Bloomstone R.J.E.
 Deena
Bloomstone R.J.E. is Director of Congregational Learning at Temple Shir Tikva.
Deena received her B.A. in Educational Psychology from McGill University
and her M.A.J.E. from the Rhea Hirsch School of Education at Hebrew
Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion. Deena has directed synagogue
education programming for 17 years. She was Director of Education
at Temple Beth Avodah in Newton for 3 years as well as Director of
Education at Temple Beth-El in San Antonio, Texas for 13 years. Deena
has authored several teacher guides for Torah Aura Productions and
edited their electronic weekly teacher’s bulletin. She is an
active member of the National Association of Temple Educators, was a member of the Board of Directors of NATE and is the
past president of the Boston Area of Reform Temple Educators.
